Lennon’s son Sean posted a picture of the Poker Face star playing the piano dressed in a black leotard and fishnet tights.
But he was forced to take it down after angry Beatles fans attacked Gaga, saying she wasn’t worthy to play the iconic instrument.
Sean jumped to his friend’s defence saying: “Pianos are meant to be played. Why is everyone so uptight?”
“What should we do, lock it away in a dusty room? So judgemental… Come on, lighten up… life’s too short, there’re enough real problems in the world. Firstly, he gave that piano to my mother for her birthday, it is hers, secondly, he was not uptight the way you seem to be.”
GaGa is said to be a huge John Lennon fan.

Lady Gaga graces the latest cover of Rolling Stone wearing little more than a bra constructed from machine guns, her “Alejandro” bob, a thong and her signature heel-less “Bad Romance” shoes in hot pink. In the issue, out Wednesday, Gaga admits that even as the picture of confidence, she sometimes questions herself.
“When I wake up in the morning, I feel just like any other insecure 24-year-old girl,” she told Rolling Stone. “Then I say, ‘Bitch, you’re Lady Gaga, you get up and walk the walk today.’ ”
Gaga said she has no intention of ever letting fans see her as Stefani Germanotta. “If I were to ever, God forbid, get hurt onstage and my fans were screaming outside of the hospital, waiting for me to come out, I’d come out as Gaga,” she said, adding that she hopes to model her persona after Michael Jackson.
“Michael got burned, and he lifted that glittered glove so damn high so his fans could see him, because he was in the art of show business. That’s what we do,” she said. “I don’t even drink water onstage in front of anybody, because I want them to focus on the fantasy of the music.”
There are very few details out there about what Gaga’s next album will sound like, but she say it’s already finished. She’s planning to announce the title of the album — due early next year — at midnight on New Year’s Eve. “I think I’m gonna get the album title tattooed on me and put out the photo,” she said. “I’ve been working on it for months now, and I feel very strongly that it’s finished right now. It came so quickly. Some artists take years; I don’t. I write music every day.”
Covering such topics as love and celebrity on her previous efforts, this new album will veer more toward the political. “Why are we still talking about ‘Don’t ask, don’t tell’? It’s like, what f—ing year is it? It makes me crazy! And I have been for three years baking cakes — and now I’m going to bake a cake that has a bitter jelly. The message of the new music is now more bitter than it was before,” she teased. “Because the sweeter the cake, the more bitter the jelly can be.”

Teachers at Holmes Middle School in Alexandria thrilled students Tuesday with a dance performance of Lady Gaga’s monster hit “Bad Romance.”
The educators donned in full Gaga attire for the dance performed as part of an end-of-the-school-year talent show in the school’s cafeteria.
“The kids were so excited,” parent Christine Haber told Fox 5 news. “They knew the teachers were going to perform at this event, but it was much better than anyone could have ever anticipated.”

The director of Lady Gaga’s new music video for her single ‘Alejandro‘ has hit back at blasphemy claims.
Lady Gaga’s ‘Alejandro‘ video represents “desire to take in the holy.”
The director of Lady Gaga’s new eight minute long video, Steven Klein has hit back at claims that his mini-movie is disrespectful to religion.
The video has been targeted after it showed the ‘Poker Face‘ singer swallowing rosary beads whilst dressed as a nun.
The fashion photographer-turned-pop video director explained to MTV that his creation was ”
not meant to denote anything negative
,” and that particular scene ”
represents the desire to take in the holy
.”
He added: ”
It represents the character’s battle between the dark forces of this world and the spiritual salvation of the soul. Thus at the end of the film, she chooses to be a nun, and the reason her mouth and eyes disappear is because she is withdrawing her senses from the world of evil and going inward towards prayer and contemplation
.”
Lady Gaga took to her twitter page earlier this week to blast her critics.
She said: ”
So many will try to destroy me. So many, over and over, coming in periods of greatness. But in this period, I cannot be broken: GAGAKLEIN (sic)

Lady GaGa has revealed that she has been tested for a life-threatening disease.
The ‘Alejandro‘ singer, who has suffered a series of health scares on her Monster Ball tour, has now admitted she may have lupus, a disease that killed her aunt.
GaGa has undergone hospital tests but refuses to reveal if she is carrying the disease, the Daily Star reports.
She said: ”
I’m very connected to my aunt, Joanne, who died of lupus. It’s a very personal thing
.”
The disease affects the immune system, and could explain her series of blackouts on stage in the past few months

Lady GaGa has confirmed details of her next single release Alejandro.
The song will be released on June 28 on CD, 7” picture disc and as a download.
Spanish flavoured Alejandro is taken from GaGa’s The Fame Monster album. A video has already been shot with fashion photographer Steven Klein.
In other Lady G news she’s reportedly learning to speak like The Queen to get an upper class accent before her next UK tour dates.
A source told The Sun: “She’s been copying the way the Queen speaks from online content. She Loves all things British especially the Queen.”
